stress reflection

The three points on self esteem that I have chosen to improve on were setting goals, recognize what you can change and what you cant, and make contribution. In the movie setting goals does not really relate because setting goals doesn't really help relieve stress. However, as it said in the film maybe thinking positively and ranking yourself high would be a little help toward relieving stress. My second point was recognize what you can change and what you can. This obviously relates to the film as people get stressed on what they cant achieve. Therefore the best way to relive stress for this point is recognize what you can change and what you cant, also accept who you are as it depends on your perception. Lastly contribution relates to the film as well. It is because in the film it said that one should help others, and take care.

wellness plan


1. The area or I would like to change or improve is:
physical fitness

2. Pick a primary goal in your lifestyle within the above mentioned Wellness Wheel
area that you want to work on achieving.
I would like to work on exercising and do activities to get active.

3. What health benefits would you receive if you made a change in this area?
Probably get stronger, and run for long period of time,

4. What difficulties might make achieving this goal a challenge? 
If i get lazy i wont  be able to achieve my goal because it all depends on how much i get active

5. The people you will ask for support and assistance are:
Personal fitness teacher or a trainer

In what way will they help you? 
They will help me eat healthy foods, and improve my lungs to get strong so i can run for long period of time

6. Three specific steps involved in making this change/improvement are (be specific)

a. participate in exercising activities, such as cross country
b. make a daily routine of going to gym
c. plan out what to avoid and what to eat for good health

7. How will you record of your progress?
In cross country we run 5km a day, so i would record the time that took me to run 5km and see if i have made improvements. The shorter time it takes shows that lungs got stronger and therefore can run for long period of time which shows better health as well.

when cross country ends so end of the semester which is on december. 

10. Reward for completion (should be appropriate):
Get a running shoes so i can still work in gym to keep my level of fitness still

Welness wheel

physical- 7 I give myself this score because most of the time I exercise in order to stay healthy. However, I eat fast food and junk food three times in a week. Also I am in the safe area for physical dimension as I don't drink or smoke.

Intellectual-8 I always challenge my self to get better in order to be successful by trying out new activities.

Occupational-8 In school, I am responsible for my learning and try to learn enthusiastically to achieve good grades.

Social-9 I have good relationship with all my friends and family who I can always rely on.

Emotional-9 I am emotionally stable because when I get depressed or upset I always communicate with the people to overcome the problems.

Spiritual-8 I am Christian therefore I do have deep appreciation for the depth and expanse of life and natural forces that exist in the universe.
